Love the look but the open crossover back showed more than I wanted. The velvet has a nice sheen and the cut is figure-sculpting. I like how the straps cross in back, but I dont love how much skin is exposed so I felt cautious. It reads dressy for evening events or a party. I ended up adjusting the straps at times and would plan for a slip or extra coverage. Overall I like the silhouette but the back made me hesitate to wear it often
